The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen

We love to eat at local establishments. My husband and I were blown away by the pork belly appetizer! My filet was cooked to perfection. I could cut it with a butter knife and it melted in my mouth! Drinks were so yummy. Dessert by an in house pastry chef. I could taste the love the staff has for this place. Ambiance was amazing. We will definitely be back in the fall. If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping in!

We came here for dinner to celebrate our first anniversary, and I’m so glad we did! It is a gorgeous restaurant, our server was beyond great and nice, and the food was amazing!! They even gave us a dessert to celebrate! It was beyond amazing! 100/10! Will definitely come back!

Excellent food. Good service. Large group seated nearby were very loud. Dessert on the house for the birthday girl. We had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, the filet with mashed potatoes, bone-in pork chop with marcapone grits, salmon with black rice and Brussel sprouts an carrots for sharing. All delicious.

Delicious meal! The fried green tomatoes were very tasty with the pimento cheese and bacon jam. No flavor over powered another. The wagyu beef burger was cooked to perfection. Great vibe with the piano music on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Don’t miss this gem! We had the Potato Crusted Halibut and the Duck Confit and both were truly amazing! The presentation and flavors would rival any top restaurant. Truly a chef that knows what he is doing!

Had dinner here and everything was awesome! Lisa’s recommendations were spot on! The crab cakes were delicious. The bread pudding was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. It’s a must visit place.

Beautiful place. I visited several weeks ago and had a great dining experience here. We went for an early lunch and it was almost empty but started getting a little busy as we left. The server was excellent. She accommodated us based on our seating preference and answered our questions regarding the lunch specials. I asked her what she recommended and the meal was delicious! They offer indoor and outdoor dining. Both areas are beautiful and I would love to come back here if I am ever in the area again.

The staff at The Oaks were excellent. When there was an issue with service delay (after being seated by hostess, waited 15-20m without service before approaching the hostess again to request water/service from server), the team at The Oaks went above and beyond to recoup the service and provide an excellent experience afterward. I felt very well taken care of and would recommend not only the service but also the food. The filet was delicious. I tried the chocolate mousse and it was quite good; the flavor was very rich and you could easily split one portion between two people. I look forward to coming back to try other dishes on the menu. The selection of music on the Saturday night I visited included various jazz selections. I recommend trying to get a seat outside or by the windows if you can to get a good view of the lake.
